It’s very true, the way you feel about your game, the mental aspect, is in my opinion the hardest thing to change. I know that I can tell what kind of day I’m going to have after the first tee. I always try to hit the driving range before a round just to see how I’m feeling. Practicing, even if you’re not using a ball can help change that swing up. My dad has been playing for nearly 50 years and still has the problem of picking up his head during some of his swings. And 10/10 times that he does that, the ball goes off the the left and follows the swing plane. Granted, he rarely picks his head up, it’s still a direct link to his bad shots. It’s something that I’m personally working on. When I’m able to keep my head down my accuracy increased tremendously.

And, yes…Vincent and the Doctor is probably my favourite Smith episode to date. I have friends (and even my dad) that refuse to watch anything after Tennant left, but they have no idea what they’re missing. :)

After that I had no further problems with him. I think after another year or so, he’ll have passed Tennant in my heart (I do still miss the Eccleston, though).
